Belden® Banana Peel® composite cables feature a patented design that eliminates the need for an overall jacket, making these cables easy to handle, easy to identify, easy to pull and easy to terminate. Just follow the simple steps shown below:

Step 1

Grip the end of the data cable

Twist the cable

Then Pull toward you to peel it off the spline

(Note:  if you are using a cable with fiber, peel the fiber first, then the data.)

Step 2

Repeat Step 1 to peel the second data cable

Step 3

Peel the coax cable by repeating step 1

Step 4

Peel the spline by repeating step 1
