Last week, we hosted an event titled The “Next” Industrial Revolution. The panel event featured our CEO, John Stroup, along with Graybar CEO, Kathy Mazzarella and the dean of the Olin Business School at Washington University, Dr. Mahendra Gupta.
John Stroup is president, chief executive officer and a member of the Board at Belden Inc. Under his leadership, Belden has transformed from a provider of high quality cable products to a leading manufacturer of end-to-end networking and connectivity solutions.
Kathy Mazzarella is president, CEO and a member of the board of Graybar, a Fortune 500 corporation and one of the largest employee-owned companies in North America. She oversees the day-to-day operations of the business and sets the strategic direction for Graybar’s sales and marketing efforts.
Dr. Mahendra Gupta is the dean of the Olin Business School at Washington University. His research has been published in leading academic journals internationally. He has served on served on several editorial boards and is a frequent speaker at research workshops and conferences worldwide.
The “Next” Industrial Revolution focuses on current trends arising from global industrial manufacturing capabilities. This includes the competitive advantages of U.S. manufacturing, logistical and supply chain benefits of local facilities, technology in manufacturing and the current skills gap affecting the U.S. labor pool.
