N Connector


An N connector is one of a number of connectors for use with coaxial cable. It has a specific impedance of 50 Ohms or 75 Ohms and can handle significant power, up to thousands of watts, depending on frequency. It can also operate well into the gigahertz range of frequencies, depending upon the specific manufacturer and model of connector chosen. N connectors are most commonly used with RG-8 and RG-213 cables but are available for a large range cables.
