Overview and Rewards
The Belden AVSS program is available to an exclusive group of AV and Security Integrators. Member benefits include:

Belden Cash Rebate Incentive Program: Earn up to a 5% rebate when you choose Belden. This cash rebate is paid
annually, based on your growth with Belden. To register for the AVSS Rebate Promotion, go to
www.belden.com/avss and fill out the online form. Once approved, you will be provided with an account number,
rebate structure and other details.
How it Works: Based on past purchase activity, growth benchmarks will be established. You will be
eligible to earn both a base rebate and an accelerated growth rebate.Example: in 2011, Joe's AV purchased $100,000 in cable and connectivity. $50,000 (50%) was Belden. In 2012, Joe's AV can earn:
- 1.45% on the first $50,000
- 6.5% on everything beyond that, up to $5000.
This is only an example. Each rebate structure will be unique. For details on what your rebate structure would be, please contact your local Belden representative.
Rebate Program Details and Rules:
Registration and Acceptance:
- Register at www.belden.com/avss
- Participants must be a system integrator, dealer or contractor focused on AV applications
- Program administrator will assess and provide confirmation email with additional program details and specifics of rebate program
- Retroactive acceptance of registrations past Q1 will be assessed on a case by case basis
- Participants cannot participate in any other Belden rebate promotions in conjunction with the AVSS promotion
Participation:
- AVSS participants must report all Belden purchases to avss@belden.com, each quarter.
2012 Calendar Date Range Report by date: 1st Quarter January 1st - March 31st April 30th 2nd Quarter April 1st - June 30th July 31st 3rd Quarter July 1st - Sept 31st Oct 31st 4th Quarter Sept 1st - Dec 31st

Sales must be reported to Belden on a quarterly basis, within one month after the close of the quarter:
- Qualified purchases include all Belden branded products, and must fall between 1/1/12 and 12/31/12
- Product must be purchased through Belden authorized distribution
- Qualifying products include:
- Belden Cable
- Belden Fiber products
- Belden, ICM, T&B connectors
- Telecast products – when purchased through distribution
- Belden Racks and Enclosures
- Participants will only receive credit for sales they report through the established process
- Participants found to have provided incorrect data can be terminated from the promotion
Payout:
- January 2013 – final purchase reports collected
- February 2013 – data is assessed and rebates calculated
- March 2013 – Rebates paid
- Participants must achieve the Rebate Growth Activation amount to qualify for a rebate
- Belden may, at its discretion, terminate participants from the promotion where due diligence indicates misleading information to have been submitted
- Belden reserves the right to perform due diligence around a participant's 2011 and 2012 purchases by obtaining Point Of Sale data through distribution
- Belden may, at its discretion, modify or end the promotion at any point, with consideration of just compensation for rebates accrued
- This promotion is owned and administered by Belden
Quarterly Reporting: Reporting your purchases is a critical part of making sure you get paid what you deserve. At the end of each quarter, AVSS participants send in a report of what they purchased. This is best accomplished by obtaining a Point of Sale report from the distributors you do business with. Most distributors can provide this in excel or a similar database format, where all you have to do is cut and paste.

On Site Training: Another great benefit of getting to know your local Belden consultant is "education." Belden's team of field consultants are a great resource for helping you train your team of project managers, technicians and installers. From hands-on Belden connector seminars to presentations on the basics of cable and signal transmission, a good understanding of quality, performance and application means fewer costly mistakes and troubleshooting in the field – saving you time and money.
Partner Portal Access & On-line Training: AVSS members have access to the Belden partner Portal and exclusive access to Belden news, resources, spec tools, and much more, The year, we are excited to launch our online training. Many courses will be free or discounted to AVSS members and provide opportunities for you to earn renewal credits toward your CTS or RCDD certification.
