The SPIDER family of switches provides users with an economical, yet highly reliable Ethernet switch. All copper/RJ45 ports are 10/100 auto-negotiating and auto-crossing – the SPIDERS will work with either patch or cross-over cables. The fiber ports are all 100 Mbps and available in multi-mode (MM) or single mode (SM) with either SC or ST sockets. Unless specified, all switches are rated 0 to + 60C, have a 24 VDC power input via pluggable terminal block and have an average MTBF exceeding 100 years.

RS2 Switches

These switches offer advanced features such as redundant power  inputs and most offer fault relay (triggerable by loss of power and/or  port-link). Standard features include 10/100 auto-negotiating and auto-crossing  (either patch or cross-over cables will work in the ports), a 0 to +60C  operating range, a 24 VDC power input via pluggable terminal block and have an  average MTBF exceeding 100 years.

All of the multimode (MM) and single mode  (SM) fiber optic ports are 100 Mbps and are available in a variety of connector  options.

MACH104 Switch for DeltaV Virtualization Systems

MACH104 switches are designed primarily for the control room  environment and the verge of the office world. They offer an operating  temperature from 0 °C to 50 °C with fanless cooling, as well as low initial  investment, high quality and durability.  The possible option of SFP modules increases  the flexibility to cope with changes in the network in the most efficient way.  “Gigabit switches are recommended for the  host management network and thin client networks. Managed switches are  recommended for production systems to support device health monitoring and  advanced management features.   The  recommended and supported managed switch for DeltaV Virtualization is the  HIRSCHMANN 24-port, rack mounted, gigabit, managed switch (MACH104-20TX-FR).

Accessories


Power Supplies
All Ethernet switches typically use 24VDC power that can be  provided from other commercially available manufacturers. HIRSCHMANN has RPS  power supplies with either 24VDC or 48VDC outputs (each has a broad range of  power inputs). To quote an RPS power supply, match switch’s power needs with  power supply’s output. Keep in mind that most switches offer redundant power  inputs, requiring two power supplies/sources. Customers can alternatively use  other non-HIRSCHMANN 24/48VDC power supplies.
