NEP - Networking Essentials - Practical

This course builds on the Networking Essentials – Theory course, providing instruction on how to commission an Ethernet switch as well as how to segment and manage traffic for efficiency and performance. This class includes hands-on sessions for troubleshooting, switch security, traffic segmentation via VLANs, traffic filtering and network resiliency via redundancy.

Who Should Attend

End Users, System Integrators, Controls Engineers, Distributor Automation Specialists, and anyone who wishes to properly troubleshoot, maintain, evolve, and support an Industrial Ethernet network.

Prerequisites

Previous attendance of the Networking Essentials - Theory Course. The participant should bring a laptop with Ethernet connection and an operating system CD. Administrator rights are required.
