Belden’s OptiTuff® Mini Pre-Terminated Fiber Trunks are the only cable assemblies that combine the durability of metal armored solutions with the performance and installation ease of non-armored solutions. These cable assemblies don’t just stand above other cable assemblies in their category—they stand alone. They provide a cost-effective, ruggedized option to replace traditional metal armored and non-armored fiber pre-terminated products in data centers, enterprise LAN environments, hospitality, gaming and casinos, etc.—with no grounding or conduit required. Fewer layers and the elimination of metal armor creates a lightweight cable with a high level of flexibility, plus a small diameter and small bend radius for easy cable preparation, installation and pulling.

- Reduces Space and Weight: OptiTuff Mini Fiber Trunks are up to 66% smaller than traditional AIA trunks (4.0 mm vs 11.8 mm) and up to 16% smaller than non-armored trunks (4.0 mm vs 4.8 mm) supporting space savings in high-density installations
- Increase Ruggedness: OptiTuff Mini Fiber Trunks can be stapled to walls (when needed) and won’t require conduit. These cables have two times the crush resistance than non-armored trunks (220 lbs vs. 100 lbs)
- Ease of Installation: No grounding kit necessary, resulting in material and labor cost savings. With a small bend radius, these are more flexible than metal armored cables and are up to 90% lighter weight than traditional AIA trunks with anti-kink properties, making pulling fast and easy
