LOUIS--(BUSINESS WIRE)-- PPC Broadband, A Belden Brand (NYSE: BDC), and a proven industry leader in connectivity technology for the telecommunications, and broadcast industries, announced that it won the top prize for Operational Excellence at the 2017 Manufacturing Leaders Awards. PPC was awarded for the value stream transformation of its largest and most mature product line, Hardline Connectors.

 

Applying a methodical and proactive approach using techniques that are universally utilized across the Belden group, the PPC team evaluated and improved the Hardline Connectors manufacturing process from start to finish, including improving the product portfolio, machining, assembly and outside-service plating.
