When Shad Sechrist joined Belden in 2021, he brought more than 20 years of experience with him in the electrical and electronic manufacturing industry, including data center design, building infrastructure consulting and network design. He helps deliver comprehensive data center solutions to Belden’s enterprise clients, specializing in product selection, logistics, project management and process improvement. His consultative approach not only gives clients the answers they need, but it also helps them learn more about their physical infrastructure.

Jorge de la Fuente is a Field Application Engineer for Latin America for Belden. He is an Electromechanical Engineer with a specialization in electronics from Anahuac del Sur University, with a master’s degree in Engineer Management. With over 25 years of experience working on infrastructures to support telecommunication systems, he serves as members of BICSI, ICREA, and AVIXA and has held his RCDD accreditation since 2003. He is CCTT certified from Fluke Networks and serves in active collaboration in the Mexico standards bodies.

As an award-winning technologist, his most recent efforts with the Infrastructure Masons were recognized when he received the 2020 IM100 Award and the 2021 iMasons Education Champion Award for his work with numerous HBCUs and for helping diversify the digital infrastructure talent pool.
