Further notes on the PL app version 2.1.4 RC2 [20260211]

This update is again a purely functional update of the application for correction and bug fixing.
All Macmon products have now been converted to a 9-digit item number and the prices have been revised,
which has led to a reduction in prices across the board.
You can find all these changes in the logbook dated January 14, 2026.
Several fixed variants with their own item numbers have been added for the GRS2000.

Further notes on the PL app version 2.1.1 RC2 [20250606]

For some fixed SPIDER variants having the new approval level WV instead of Y9, the prices had to be adjusted.
Here are the affected product numbers:

Also for a number of Netmodule products, the US$ prices were either corrected or made available for the first time.

It corrects some display errors and blocks the configuration of the Octopus III with PoE until further notice.

Further notes on the PL app version 2.0.2 RC2 [20240801]

The prices of the MIPP product have been fixed because they were not correctly updated in the previous release regarding the price increase of the 1st of July 2024.
The price increase for the 1st of July 2024 was not reflected in the previous release because the compilation of this release was created two days before the price change has been created by the product manager.
This happened due to an error in the communication between the product manager and me.

This update is again a purely functional update of the application for correction and bug fixing.
It also includes a new feature, namely the possibility to retrieve already discontinued products
in a so-called product repository. This was implemented in response to several customer requests.

Further notes on the PL app version 2.0.0 RC1 [20231213]

This update is a purely functional update of the application.

Due to the long lead time from the deployment of the application to the actual effective date of the new prices,
there were always questions as to how high the old price of a product was during this period,
which in the current case is almost three months, especially for EMEA customers.

For fixed numbered products, the logbook of price changes could provide information on this.
Sadly only few users found and used the logbook feature…
However, there was no such logbook for freely configurable products.

With this new version of the application, this has now been fundamentally revised.

In addition to the logbook, there is now a small button in all price displays,
regardless of whether it is a fixed numbered hardware or service product, or a freely configurable product,
with either a red arrow pointing upwards for a price increase,
or a green arrow pointing downwards for a price reduction, which you can click on.

Clicking on the button opens a pop-up window in which the new and old prices are displayed side by side.
In addition, the date from which the new price is valid and the date until which the old price is valid is also shown.

But that's not all - the display of the price list of fixed numbered products as a complete list
has also been extended so that the current new and the previous old price are displayed.
The column with the old price is displayed on the far right as the last column in the list.

The new and old prices are now also displayed in the "Check products" window,
regardless of whether these are fixed numbered products or freely configurable products.
This means that you can now import all products that you have previously purchased into this window and display the new and old price, regardless of whether they are fixed numbered or freely configurable products.

I really hope you like these new features and that the long-standing problem of the old-new price issue is finally resolved.
