XTran - 1-100G-LW (XT-2215-A)

The 1-100G-LW interface module (=IFM) supports 100 Gigabit Ethernet according the IEEE 802.3ba-2010 standard. This standard specifies full duplex point-to-point links. This module provides one 100 Gbps optical LAN/WAN port on the front panel (LAN = Local Area Network; WAN = Wide Area Network). 1-100G-LW refers to ‘1 port – 100 Gigabit – LAN WAN’. This IFM requires a CSM7100-A Central Switching Module. This port is configurable as LAN or WAN (=default) via TXCare (=XTran Management System).This IFM can only be used in core nodes.
