Configuration functions

Enables configuration and display of interface graphics and addtional information. Central authentications of e.g. switch logins can be configured and performed. This is based on RADIUS and TACACS+.

Alarm and event actions

Alarm, configuration and event logging. Alarm and event actions such as email, SMS, syslog, SNMP trap, REST API calls, start scripts.

Event generation

Network monitoring (polling), NAC enforcement (SNMP, etc.), NAC authentications (MAB, 802.1X, RADIUS in general), REST API calls (e.g. third party solutions), agent data, internal processes, guest portal.

Monitoring

Enhancement of some readout methods (serial number, software version admin speed, VLAN mode). Displays a graphical interface overview. Enables authentication funtionalities that are not NAC related (like switch login, VPN authentications, RADIUS health checks, ...).

Topology recognition

Topology recognition is based on LLDP (Link Layer Discovery Protocol, IEEE802.1AB)
